Epiphany 4
Please find attached a PDF of the liturgy for Morning Prayer for Sunday, January 31, the Fourth Sunday after the Epiphany.
I encourage you to visit the thrift shop and see some of the re-arranging that is going on.  It has moved into the upstairs of the parish hall permanently while the old shop downstairs is being reorganized for Sunday School, meetings, and rental space post-pandemic.
The pain and loss from the pandemic is greater than any of us can comprehend. Most days over 3000 lives are ended and thousands of others whose recovery will leave lasting struggles.  This prayer from Compline has been helpful to me over the last few weeks:
"Keep watch, dear Lord, with those who work, or watch, or weep this night, and give your angels charge over those who sleep. Tend the sick, Lord Christ; give rest to the weary, bless the dying, soothe the suffering, pity the afflicted, shield the joyous; and all for your love's sake. Amen. (BCP p. 134)
Stay healthy and hopeful,
Br. Randy
